HiI've been meaning to send these in for a while now. I believe this started life as a 1978 Mercian 'Routier' (frame no 46678) in blood red which I have owned now for 24 years having aquired it as just frame and forks from the previous owner. As you can see I have recently had it re-finished in a stunning italian pearl white with half chrome forks, head tube and rear triangle. It still rides beautifully and I enjoy it all the more when I ride it alongside my son on his new carbon framed racing bike and mine gets all the attention at the cafe stop!RegardsDes If you have had a frame renovated by Mercian why not send us a picture for the blog ?
