Here are two photos of my beautiful 1954 Mercian that you refurbished for me last year. The frame was bought dirt cheap on Ebay without forks, and in a very sorry state. It took  months of scanning Ebay daily to find a suitable pair of forks. The parts are mainly period correct, but because it is my only bike, and I ride it most days some parts like the wheels are modern. It has mavic rims and 2 speed Sturmey Archer kick back hub. The handle bars, stem and brakes are all vintage GB. It also has modern Dia Compe Guidonnet Brake Levers, which are quite unusual. Before I bought this frame I knew nothing about bikes, it was a steep learning curve getting all the right parts so they would  fit together. Rob Sargent at Sargent & Co in Finsbury Park London put it together for me and did a  great job.
