After 20 something years of wanting and 6 months working for mercian cycles I finally got my hands on a mercian frame. Built-up with some old parts I had in the bottom of my tool box and some new parts. I have been riding my mercian to and from work for 3 weeks now and I thought it was time I went out for a proper ride so up into the Derbyshire peaks I went, I was very happy and a little surprised just how good the bike felt,on the flat roads it rolls along nice and smooth and on the hills although it weighs a bit more than my carbon race bike it went up hills pretty well. So after 3 1/2 hours riding I'm very happy with my mercian just need to clean it now.
