Launched in August 2026 as part of our 80th-year celebrations, the eVentura is the electrically assisted version of the Mercian Ventura Allroad, our all-road bike. From road, to woodland, to gravel, and anything in between. Flatten hills, overcome headwinds and expand horizons with a nudge from the Mahle battery tucked neatly into the water bottle cage.

e-Ventura
As with all Mercian bikes, the frame is tailor-made to the rider's dimensions, built in Derby using the finest Reynolds lightweight steel tubing. Fitted with a 250W Mahle hub motor, the rear wheel slots into specific Reynolds dropouts (which house the Mahle drive connector unit and motion sensor) and is secured with a 12mm thru-axle. The Speed sensor ensures the bike complies with regulations and effortlessly accelerates you up to 25km/h. With the Mahle XS battery providing you with 171Wh of power and a range of 60km, the long and winding road just got easier. The battery can be easily removed for on-the-go charging with the handy Energy Hub.
Being a small and lightweight battery, the total weight of the eVentura is kept low at 13.3kg, making it manageable for lifting into your car, apartment or boat.

The eVentura is only available as a complete bike, in either a flat bar or drop bar design. Our standard model is supplied with the ‘Core’ build package, as detailed below, or customers are welcome to choose any kind of groupset and components they wish.
Price includes a paint finish in one colour on the frame and one colour on the forks, plus standard transfers.

The order process...

Now you’ve chosen your frame, you just need to decide on your paint options: simply use our paint configurator to select your scheme and attach it to your order. Alternatively, select your paint scheme after you’ve paid your deposit.

Secure your build spot with a $1,500.00 deposit (we will then request an interim payment of 75% of the outstanding balance approx. 4 weeks later once your frame is built – see Terms & Conditions)

The paint scheme you design is just a guide – we will confirm the scheme with you, and fine-tune it to your needs, before we start the frame build. Colours shown are for guidance only; due to screen settings, the shades may not be an exact match to the final paint colour.
