With a few teething issues overcome, Mercian revealed its three new eBike models in late August: the eVentura, the ePro and the ePro Step. We could not have done it without the help of Erewash Council who provided an incredible grant to help us in our development.
The eVentura is the electrically assisted version of our popular Ventura Allroad bike. With a range of 60km, the Mahle XS battery fits neatly into the water bottle cage. Weighing in at 13.3 kg its the lightest model in our electric range.
The ePro and the ePro Step are our longer range options, covering roughly 100km on a full charge, the larger Mahle X20 battery is integrated into the down tube. These two bikes were ordered by our friends Seamus & Lorraine, who were looking for two electric bikes to match their rather lovely electric cars.
