The King of Mercia is our most popular touring model - tried, tested and improved over the years to suit today’s touring requirements.
The frame is custom built to your dimensions and requirements, in any colour from our wide range, with contrasting head and seat tube band, lugs lined and Mercian transfers. As well as the standard braze ons (bottle bosses, lever bosses, cable guides etc.) an extra set of bottle cages bosses and rear rack eyes are included at no extra cost in the price of the complete machine. Vertical dropouts and front rack eyes are included with this bike package.

Braking is kept under control via the Shimano R650 47-57 dual pivot, coupled with the R600 Aero lever, giving enough power even when the bike is fully loaded.

With two types available - close clearance for narrow mudguards with 39-49mm brakes using a maximum tyre of 23mm, and a deep drop for a wide mudguard with 47-57mm brakes using a maximum tyre of 28mm.
